News and Status 11/19/08. We are pleased to announce our next new 1:32 scale plastic injection kit. It is the Focke-Wulf Ta-152H-1 high altitude WWII German fighter (PCM 32008). As all of our kits do, it comes with resin detail parts, Cartograf decals and color marking/painting instructions and Eduard PE set. The injection work has already begun. ETA is sometime in December. It is up in our catalog for pre-orders, but the price is tenative!!! As soon as we can, we will set the firm price. The new kit, the Fiat G.55 serie 1 (PCM 32007) will be shipping on Wednesday, November 19 as we have received all components now. The resin looks great and so does the plastic. There are 4 aircraft to chose from on the decal sheet. This kit also includes color painting instructions and a color PE set from Eduard. We have added a new line of resin detail and conversion sets from Great Britain by Cammett Ltd. They offer a Nimrod AEW3 conversion set for the 1:72 Airfix kit and a "Mistal" kit for the 1:32 Revell He-162. The Mistal set consists of an Arado E-377a missile and the launch trolley. Both of these are now up in our catalog under "Cockpit, Detail and Conversion sets". Their next conversion set will be for our PCM 32006 Spitfire MK.IXe to convert it into a MK.XVI! It will include a clear resin canopy. We will sell this by itself and also packaged together with our MK.IXe kit. It will be up in our catalog as soon as pricing is set. Regarding Historica Productions, we have just been informed that the owner is having health problems again. He cannot accept our order at this time so we will not be able to supply these kits. We will keep track of the situation and if it changes, place our order. Regarding Cri.el Models, we will be importing this line again for retail and hobby shop sales. We have updated our catalog to show the status and new prices of the Cri.el items we carried in the past. Most of these items are out of stock, so we have placed our order on Sunday, November 9. We have added 41 of their new kits to our catalog. You can pre-order. There is a new book from Ali D'Italia, AD28 on the SM.79 with 120 pages and many newly published photos. We have placed our order and it has arrived. It is up in our catalog now. We also received AD26 on the Schneider Cup Racers. Massi Models has re-issued their MM 48001 resin kit of the Fiat RS.14. They have also issued their new 1:48 resin kit of the Imam Ro.44 naval recon seaplane (MM 48002). Both are now in stock again. Regarding Friulmodel items, we have all of their new 1:48 scale tracks except for ATL 4810 which was out of stock. We carry most of their metal figure lines. If your local hobby shop does not carry these tracks, please ask them to contact us. We are deliberating on a list of new kits for the next year. There will be some real surprises! We are open to suggestions for new kits for 2009 and thank you for the ones which we have received so far. Please keep them coming. AlphaFlight resin kits of the 1:48 Cant Z.1007 are sold out. AlphaFlight as informed us that they can make a total of 12 more, so we have placed the order. Please order now so we know which quantities of which versions to order. All parts will then be out of stock. We would need orders for at least 40 more kits to order more decals and white metal parts, so it is unlikely that anymore will be produced after this 12. The next new kit from AlphaFlight, the 1:48 scale resin kit of the British Sunderland MK.III flying boat (AF 48017) is in production now. This is the largest kit they have ever produced as each fuselage half is one piece. Decals include British, French and Australian aircraft. They have been shipping 12-24 kits per month. So far, all incoming shipments have been sold out before arriving. The next shipment in early November (if we are lucky) is already sold out, so get your order in to get on the backorder list, especially if this is going to be one of your Christmas presents! We have stock of the new AlphaFlight 1:48 resin kit of the Cant Z.506 floatplane (AF 48016). The floats are hollow to keep the model weight down. This kit includes PE and a Cartograf printed decal sheet which includes the Red Cross decals for Air/Sea rescue and German markings. It looks great! AlphaFlight has supplied us with a few of the Fiat Br.20 early version (AF 48015). The BR.20M (AF 48014) is sold out and out of production. Lifecolor has announced 3 new 12 bottle sets. The first is German WWII Military Vehicles (DCS01) The second is 12 basic matt colors (DCS02). The third is DSC03 is all the tensocrom pigments (DCS03). The are now in stock and up in our catalog listed under "Pigment and Paint sets". You can also check all the 6 bottle sets now in stock. German WWII armor, Nato armor, German WWII uniforms, Italian WWII vehicles, Luftwaffe WWII, WWII Kreigsmarine, Dust & Rust, WWII US Army Olive Drab, Italian Uniforms WWII, Italian WWII Naval colors and English Mid-East Vehicles WWII. We also stock their new 250ml bottles of Big Thinner and Big Cleaner. Our 1:32 scale Macchi C.200 (PCM 32001) is in stock. The Macchi C.205 (PCM 32003)is out of stock again. We are getting 30 more of the C.205 and then they will no longer be available. The Macchi C.202 and Re.2005 are available. Regarding Karaya, their line of armor accessories includes tow cable sets with resin ends, tow cable sets without the resin ends, metal machine gun barrel sets (for armor and aircraft) and their metal track link sets for the Tiger I early and late. We are also stocking their tow cable sets in 1 meter lengths.
