ALPHAFLIGHT OF ITALY
AF 72001 Conversion Kit for Fiat CR.42 by MisterKit
(MK 72001 or 72002).
This 1:72 scale conversion kit enables you to build the
ICR.42 floatplane fighter version of the famous Fiat CR.42.
While the concept of using the CR.42 for ship defense was
a sound one, by the time the project was completed, the
CR.42 was obsolete. This conversion kit consists of new
resin fuselage halves, floats and the attaching struts enabling
you to build a beautiful bi-plane floatplane fighter. $18.45.
AF 72002 Conversion Kit for Fiat CR.42 by MisterKit
(MK 72001 or 72002).
This 1:72 scale conversion kit enables you to build
the two-seat trainer conversion done by Agusta
after the war ended. It is suspected that some of
these were converted during the war, but there is
no documentation or photos to prove this. This
kit consists of resin fuselage and interior pieces
along with PE and instrument panel film. $18.95
AF 72003 Conversion Kit for Fiat CR.42 by MisterKit
(MK 72001 or 72002)
This 1:72 scale conversion kit enables you to build the
fastest CR.42 ever built. With a top speed of 323 mph,
this fighter would have been more than a match for the
Hurricanes and early Spitfires, but by the time is was
tested in 1942, it was already obsolete. Fiat and Italy
would have been better off if Fiat had switched to license
production of the Macchi C.202. This conversion kit
consists of resin fuselage halves, lower wing, prop blades
and hub and other minor pieces necessary to build this
fast bi-plane fighter. $19.95
